Actually GSRSOL, GEEZGSR, ZIMBIE and a couple others who PM'd me, I was wrong. The GSR power window console I have looks like all the buttons work and click fine, its that window lock button that seemed a bit dodgy. [edit - link to EBAY Auction below]

turns out my motor for the drivers winfow is SHAGGED as well......
plus the switch.
I managed to find a NEW master switch for ~280bucks from Preston Mitsubishi...... (Parts supplier for Melbourne)
which is some 80 bucks cheaper than Nunnawadding Mitsu - WTF???

hey next time this happens boyz.......b4 u go buy anotha try dipping the switches in a bowl of petrol and click for a while youll be amazed what comes out of it....! same thing happened to me!!!!! then take it out and blow it off with an air blower ........sorry for the late responce boyz

Ha i remember replying to this on the other forum....i would use contract cleaner rather then petrol. Plus the other thing is when the legs are broken on the switches there's not much that petrol or contact cleaner will do.

I am fairly certain that the individual switch parts can be bought from an electronics store. What you would need to do is de-solder the switch off then re-solder the new one on.
Those little switch bits wouldn't be Lancer specific I wouldn't think, if even Mitsubishi specific. Once you have it off the board you could take it into an electronics place and ask them to match it up. Altronics or Jaycar would be your best bet I would think.
My brother is an electronic tech and says most things can be replaced, the only issue might be the auto down part of the drivers door switch. Although heaps of cars have them now.

happened to me aswell on the drivers window(one of the legs broke off)...i just pulled out one from the back doors and replaced the broken one with it. only thing is now it doesn't have auto down
