Hey Guys,

I have a car that has been sitting around for too long, i wanted to do the evo rear window conversion into my GSR, amoung other parts, but i have never got around to it..

I have a genuine evo 2 (rear cut) it's been mostly stripped out, but it does include
useable floor pan (for 4wd conversion)
rear seat cross bracing (evo)
rear window glass with rear wiper hole (can include wiper for another $50)
good condition roof and ribs

It has no doors, no diff or cross member, no fuel tank, and no door seals.

It's basically a stripped shell cut off at the dash.

I'm taking this to the parts recyclers next weekend unless someone wants it, asking $200, scrapping it on the 28th of may otherwise.

PM me if interested, (will need a trailer to take it away.) Im located in East Ringwood, near to eastland, off the Eastlink bypass

Nick

ariel sold... sorry guys, gianni you could take the lot cut what you need, and metal recycle the rest, they pay $160 p/tonne at simco,

ive seen screens sell on here for heaps more..

evo-oox, thanks for the copy paste ;)

took me 1hr to cut floor out of car with a $90 reciprocating saw from bunnings. get the bosch blades tho, and ear protection.
i love my saw

im not sure what brand my mates saw is, but we had the front off in about 5 minutes, it was amazing.. it cut through the glass. pillers, floor, trans tunnel, fuel lines, and nothing made it slow down.. very impressive

my folks would kill me if i started collecting for an awd conversion! it's been a battle with the old lady over going turbo charged not looking forward to my insurance renewal

I like the idea of a rear screen. Rents live in Melbourne so storage wouldn't be a problem till i got there. Would it come with loom? If it does, does anyone wanna go halfsies?

There is no loom, but it's only one plug and a couple of wires to the wiper, I an give you the stock switch that goes in the dash if you like

Price is the same, I'll get similar $$ at the wreckers, I got a quote to remove and install the screen, $80, I'm not sure how to do it myself, and I don't want to take it out incase I break it, you can have the lot if u like, let me know today if you still want it

Just buy the rear cut and then get a Windscreen O'Brien dude to drop past your house. He should be able to remove it for a few $$$ in hand. The rear glass comes out with less chance of breaking when compared to the front.

From memory it cost me less than $100 for a guy to come out and remove all the glass from the coupe - the tricky ones were the 1/4 windows.
