Changing boot lock?

anyone know how to do this?

i want the lock thats in my boot now, to go into the E2 boot i bought.... otherwise i cant use the boot!

is it hard?

i believe it'll be a clip that is holding it in..
the same type of clip u find on doors / shifter cables etc

its sorta like a U SHAPE clip

anyway, if im correct, its very easy
slide clip out, lock comes off (undo all the connections etc)
and put it into the other
