I got check engine light coming on when I accelerate to much I want to know thoughts on what it could be

Engine 4g93p with a gsr (td04 i think) turbo set up
4g93t computer + injectors
Proton gti standard fuel pump
93t Afm

Could it be a engine knock sensor coming on cause I'm running to lean and not sucking in enough fuel

Could it be that I'm running a 93t computer on a 93p engine and its shitting itself

The 02 sensor didn't plug up it was 2 wires( blue and white) my plug had blue white and 2 blacks could it be the 2 blacks not grounding or something and screwing up

I want to know what you guys think or if any1 had the same problem thanks
 
get the proper O2 sensor....to start and check the AFR with a wide band to see if it is lean.

however Ive seen this a couple of times over here... the light is more than likely from knock.... has the static compression been lowered to match that of a stock GSR.......if not then enjoy the rebuild that is coming. The tune in the ecu you have is set up around that compression ratio.....if yours is higher and the tune hasnt been tweeked accordingly. it is going to detonate badly.....and if left... in the end probably fail with spectacular results. You can try tuning with an ecmlite that may help.
 
I'm not sure what ecu lite is but I do have spare motor ready to rock as it was built as a pig setup, would it be wise to get a walbro fuel pump ? And see how it goes I'm experiencing loss of power almost flat spot right be for it gets to engine light on once you change gear or come off the pedal turns off until you get high range rpm again, the turbo I'm prity sure it's some sort of small t25 cause I experience spooling almost as soon as I take off , I am running no intercooler, no bov, no boost gauge and standard fuel pump also gti's are notorious for the dash to not work in saying that I only get speedo and kms counting the rest is a guessing game
 
yes it could be a good step to put a better pump in...but you might also need a better reg as sometimes the stock regs handle the bigger pump and sometimes not.

dont keep driving it....as it will just die. do the aft test and go from there.

Km's counting is known as an odometer buddy.and don't take offence but sounds to me like everything is a giant guess there mate not just your odometer and speedo. I have 3 options I'd suggest.
1. Take it to a good tuner! Along with an open wallet, the spare motor and an open wallet and ask really nicely for some help.
2. Take the bulb out of the dash for the engine light!! They are for pussies anyway. Mite as well remove the dash come to think of it as it doesn't sound like its doing a lot LOL. Drive the thing hard! Until it goes BOOM which won't be very long I promise u. Then just do the same thing to the next motor!
3. Buy a 93t or a 63t with a loom and ecu etc better still a halfcut that has everything you need and just put a turbo motor into the car if it's a turbo car you want. An even better idea would be to just buy either a car thats had a conversion already done,a gsr, vr4 or an evo and don't look back

3. It's a 2 thousand dollar car that's taken more hits than mike tyson not a fuken evo who in there right mind would spend money on it.

4. This car is a backyard pig with soul intention to beat Vtecs

5. Engine light is only bothering me due to losing power, will refer to fuel pump and turn the boost up

The cars been running like that for over 2 month brother.
 
Jack of all- unlimited brother I got some spare do you need some by the looks of it I'm the HIGHest COMP editor on this forum.

All jokes aside hopefully sometime this week ill do a comp test and sort out fuel pump an boost gauge and let you know my results

Like jack said these engines run very high compression anyway so turning the boost up is definitely going to end up with a rod going flying out of the motor in spectacular fashion probably. Plus if your a p plater your not allowed a turbo full stop so you just contradicted yourself there mate. I wouldn't think you'd be wanting to run any more than about 4-5psi of boost and even then your going to need more fuel and timing adjustment just to make it run without detonating. Why not try a 93t ecu injectors fuel pump and afm. U should be able to pick second hand stuff up for cheap. I've not personally ever owned a Honda but I don't mind some of them.dont be such a hater vtec is a brilliant invention and Mitsi has copied it with its mivec. Your engine light is most definitely coming on from knock from how you've described it and the flat spot is due to detonation. It will go bang.
 
Also wouldn't help to plumb in a cheap intercooler. Will definitely help reduce detonation by cooling the charged air. Look in the parts for sale section or go to a wreckers. It doesn't need to be a fancy shiny one. Even a standard gsr one would be perfect

If you want a cheap but effective, stealth cooler, I have a factory one from a Legnum here which will do the job perfectly.....

Read above brother running yellow tops injects evo 3 Afm & Ecu so it would probably alarm you to know I've turned the turbosmart boost tap to approx 14psi and I beat a e55 amg through some bends today & from a set of lights only beat me by half a car length let it go up with bang

The O2 was making the car limp under heavy accel but I did as yu said hooked up my plug fixed 1 problem it made the light switch off but came back after 3rd gear 5k rpm after heavy acel , has to be fuel related probly chase down a 255 walbro and hook up the adjustable fpr and see if it fixes the light
