Nope, its the old dual board ECU ( ie non chippable) with a piggyback device. Best put back on Ebay ! The only chipped dual board I've seen was done by a Ralliart engineer... Buy a single board ECU and socket it, then run an ECMtuning chip on it to make it easily programmable via a laptop for almost infinite AFM MAF sensor and injector cominations.

this has been chipped i took apart and has a chip by dynamic racing !!!! jus wonding if you kan run it wit vr4 afm or evo afm with the 450cc injectors

I had a chipped dual board Ecu. It was done by chiptorque in Queensland. The chip was on the underside of the top board.

If you contact razza ( he is a member one this forum) he had a couple basic tunes for a dual board Ecu. The chips are only for 450cc and stock afm.

I'd forget about running that... looks old and nasty! You don't know how much boost it was set up for, what injectors it was set up for?

razza does chips and could sort something out for you to get on the road with your EVO AFM at least. Make sure you put the eprom in the right way, and be delicate!

It all depends what setup the chip that is in your ECU now, has been written for. If you don't have the same setup, your car will either not run, run like shit, or even fuck out. You really need to do this once, and do it properly. What is wrong with the ECU that came with the car?

I brought this as was going to swap my standard vr4 ecu for this chipped one and evo 3 afm but dont know wat the chip was set up for apart from running the evo afm and have no idea if kan run the same injectors or have to upgrade to 510cc evo ones???

Get in contact with razza (he's an NZ boy) and he should be able to sort you out (to find him on the forum just do a search for razza).

I cant find a fp884 in google?
But it only has 2 wires so I was thinking it was maybe a maf translator.
You could check what wires it plugs into to find its function...
If you really want to use it you will still need a wideband to check you have right setup and big enough injectors.

The chip in mine said 510 055. Though the fitted injectors were 450s, it didnt run real nice and the wideband said mostly lean. changed the 450s to 510s and it was heaps better

there are 4 wires black wire goes to pin 18 which is the speed sensor green wire going to pin 18 , red wire going to pin 23 power supply for maf sensors (5volts) and yellow going to pin 24 sensors ground

have put pix up of chip if it helps

if kan run the ecu witout the piggy back unit !!!!

And were you running a 055 AFM as well ?? The inscription would suggest that as well !

Yea, I got a 055 for it, I wanted to try the 450s as that is what was on the engine. I didnt want to buy 510 and they be too big for the chip. When I got the parts gsr the afm was missing, actually the whole intake was missing. But the 450s were there...First time I drove it was to a wideband to check it out. Fortunately the friendly chap had some 510s to put in and try. Mmmm much better then.
