Like the topic says, I got presents this morning.



Various OEM bits including some throttle shaft seal which is nice seeing as mine leaks as soon as there is any pressure. Also a set of braided brake lines so I can finally do my brakes....and that thing in the bubble wrap?

Gotta have it and my exhaust modded with a divorced wastegate pipe until just before the fire wall flex joint. It will be worth the wait.

Who made the dump?

The dump was made by Punishment Racing. After having them available for a few months they have stopped doing them due to the amount of time that it takes to fabricate one. Mine was on its way here and they dissapeared from their web site so I asked why.

Punishment Racing do awesome stuff, I got my dump pipe from them. Lifetime warranty is a massive plus!

A friend of mine got one from them and the flange faces were not flat....might want to check that out?

Yeah, the surface finish isn't that great, so I was going to get them all refaced.

I went with this one because it's the only one I've seen that has a straight shot out of the turbo before entering the curve down, and it steps up from 2.5' to 3' at the exit which I haven't been able to find elsewhere. Since I've had my Galant the biggest mystery to me upgrade wise has been why the car was fitted with a full 3' system but still had the stock o2 housing. Especially since it's had a turbo swap.
