So today i had a new clutch installed in my evo 3. The clutch is a competition clutch twin plate.

I am now getting weird noises and there is a vibration in the drivetrain on deceleration around 3k.

I have read about people hearing noises from the gearbox/clutch which i can hear but no mention on viberations at the same time?

What condition are your engine mounts in?? In particular the lower roll stoppers. You may need to change to a ralliart set or equivalent. Just an idea.
Could also be carrier bearings in the drive shaft? Maybe check all bushes and associated bearings

I had new engine mounts put in when we did the clutch. Should the vibrations can be felt though the whole car. I would think if it was just the clutch discs vibrating it would be reduced mostly to just the pedals?

You also have to realise twin plates are race oriented and not all that street friendly. As stated above usually part and parcel to their operation.Unless you are paying big money for something like an of giken or similar. I have had similar noises and rattles with puk clutches

The gearbox is attatched to the engine which is attatched to the car isnt it?
Then you have tailshaft and diff and driveshafts all feeling those vibrations.....

also you said you changed the mounts did you change to oe spec mounts or uprated solid style mounts

solid style mounts are going to add more vibrations to the car

It has harder rubber mounts, and I defiently feel a difference at idle. The sounds I'm hearing from the clutch/gearbox sound like a dogbox and feel like im on a corrugated road.

Defiently rpm related. Most noise and feel about 3k rpm. Noise does go away when the clutch is pushed in. I didn't do the work so I'm not sure if it all went back together correctly. Never had a twin plate before so it's a sound I'm not commen to hearing. Had mates cars with twins and no noises like this

You also have to take into consideration that the clutch plates are unsprung so emgine harmonics are being pased to the gearbox
