Clutch Problems

HEy bought a heavy duty clutch kit and have had it installed. CAn the clutch plate be put in at all back to front? I think it may have been put in the wrong way around, is it possible or does it only go i n one way! :shock:

yes it definately can,
on teh clutch plate it will say flywheel side or gearbox side,
not sure what putting in wrong way does, but i wouldnt drive it...

the clutch plate can be. pressure plate cant

what makes you think that its in the wrong way?

I doubt any experienced mechanic worth his weight would screw up a new clutch plate install :lol:

I imagine it would slip like there was no tomorrow along with some strange noises!
