coil on plug setup

4GTuner

Help Support 4GTuner:

The pro 12 is a 2 channel unit right? So the 4 aftermarket coils fire the same as stock coils, just with more power?

Yes it runs with the cylinders paired like the factory setup. You run more energy and plus more energy actually gets to the spark plug itself with COP.

If you have an ECU with 4 ignition channels we can offer the Pro14 (4 ch) but this is more expensive.

The Buschur racing 9.0 second EVO8RS drag car (see link below) uses a Pro12 8)

Running a COP setup without upgrading to some sort of ignition amplifier makes your ignition setup much weaker... They do look pretty nice though ya? I don't think you guys are ready for this yet though

That's why I said aftermarket ECU only (where you can run multiple ignitors and adjust for the correct dwell) or run our M&W CDI.

That's no good it will go slower because the plate's too heavy, excess weight :)

^^^^^ PIC ^^^^^ BAM!!! Now thats what I'm talking about!! Where da hell did the backing plate come from?

thats look very nice!!

the pro 12? im assuming they still run waste spark??

what ecu do they use? the stock one?

pro 14 would be the go with an aftermarket ecu.
sequencial ignition.

ls1 coils are pretty good i use them on my wagon and have no issues with them. they have built in igniter as well. price 85 bucks each

You can get the plates I posted from two sources.

JM Fabrications 100.00 usd (this can also be POLISHED to look just as well)

When I go to purchase one, I'll get the JM Fabrications model and just have it polished, the dvdt looks nice but he just wants more than what's fair IMO.

oh shit yeah, $190US is damn expensive for a piece of metal with some holes in it  Hmmm... mate of mine has a laser cutter as his work and he owes me a favour

Yeah I totally agree, I'm going to purchase the JM fab version and have it polished myself. They're a piece of CNC'd billet aluminum, and look nice as hell. I'm usually a function over form guy myself but this looks too nice :)
