compliance in SA (regency)

hey guys, just wondering if anyone has had experience with complying there car in SA....

yeah mate, DONT go to PVP.

try and find a place called rory thompson enterprises

they will install your side intrusion bars/child restraints.. you just need to find the fuel filler neck and make a sticker that says "unleaded fuel only".

then make sure the car is stock (or close enough) and take it though

you'll most likely get knocked back first time around

i'v been quoted approx 900 for all the safety stuff, intrusion bars, seatbelts, child restraints, fuel filler neck, etc. js gota try n get my car back to stock...which could be the problem as its been so modified over in japan. we'lc wat happens tho... is the stock jspec intercooler illegal?

anyways, what has been done to your car? you can likely get away with your exhaust depending on how extreme it is, but most of them pass..

what other non-standard gear does it have? i might be able to help you out...

yea, got the vr4 from yahoo....... taken the wing of, coz tht was just outrageous lol.... i'm pretty sure its still got the factory jspec cooler but for it to be legal doesnt it have to be behind the radiator wall or sumtn??? yea im thinkin bout sellin the wheels but tht wont b fo a while i dont rekon.... extras include racin seat, momo wheel, turbo timer, coil-overs, blow off valve...thts abouit all tht is coming to me atm.... sure theres a few more aye...

sam the front mount is fine.

anything that comes stock on the car is fine.

you'll need to disconnect the turbo timer and hide the wiring, swap out the coilovers for stock struts (that may be a problem finding stock rears), stock steering wheel, and probably the seat..

although you can get through with some of the stuff, it's never guaranteed.

is that the stock bov, or can you recirc it at all?

well i would of thought that the blow of valve is stock, it looks hell stock - u cant even tell its there...looks like a normal part of the car - but fuk is it loud....
cheers for the info for the cooler - so u rekon rear struts gonna b hard to find?? ne possible places???

i have stock struts and springs u can borrow if needed.
maybe its the stock bov but with the plumb back pipe disconnected and blocked?
