Hello All,
Ok forgive my ignorance on this topic if it has already been flogged before. But........

How do you tell if a car is a rebuild or not, does it differ from low volume import.

What I know is:
Yellow is personal - brought in if owned overseas
Green is low volume - such as ralliart Evo etc
Silver is production - off the shelf cars
Red is partial completed or chassis - wrecks i think

So my question is what plate would a rebuild have and what would a genuine evo have, or do they use the same colour. What plates do the RS and Rally Evo's have if any.

Jules

im pretty sure a rebuild would have a "6T9xXxXx" badge next to the original CE/CD 9A, either that or on the strut tower. i'm also pretty sure most of the first imported evo's were imported using this method/scheme.

there were different numbers indicating different rebuilds (repairable writeoffs etc..) I THINK.

im sure the other members will be able to fill you in.

Rally Cars are either on permit, so the dont have any compliance plates, or like ours, we have a Red CAMS plate.. which shows dedicated competition car.
