Connection under throttle

Just picked up my new motor. It's an Evo 3. Under the throttle body there is a spot for a hose that would bolt on. What is it for. I don't have it on my Na 4g63?

Pretty sure your referring to the EGR valve if its a deff EVO3

Yeah it's an Evo 3. What does it run to?
It's probs still in the loom

3zercrowd. I don't have net at home so use my phone. Problem I can't open the manuals on here tried google pics none had a close up of that area where I could see

If it's the egr most people take it off and put a plate over it

Oh. Why is that. It looks oily or coolant like. What's it do.

Na. It must be part of the throttle. Not the manifold. In that pic it would be on the bottom left of the throttle opening. I'll take a pic tomorrow

Yes, GLXi/GSR/Proton/EVO/Galant should all be he same

Anybody ever purchase a brand new stepper motor before? If so how much?

my local global efi (sub branch of global auto spares) had them going for around $250 and $160-$180 got you the tps it's cheaper to got out and buy a te-tf mgna body and either canbalize that or just use it as is.
