I like the old school gadets, like the trip computer, maps lights everywhere, the rear seats have fold down tables , and the boot you can get lost in, when you lock the car and the windows shut along with the sunroof

I used to drive a friends one when I was 16, so thats why Ive always had one on the list to own

not what i expected... might have to call you james may ;)

looks nice though... the old man had a late 70's one that was being converted from the v12 to a 6 but it never got finished though... it even had climate controll.. pretty impressive for its age.. i imagine its gonna be pretty thirsty though

I used to work for Melbourne City Jaguar when I first moved here- first thing i'd do before putting my foot down is replacing the thermostat, and radiator hoses (if they haven't been changed recently)

I'm still mates with the old team leader if you want me to give him a call and see what he reckons about things to look out for??

I was going to get a BMW 535i or a 735 V8 but the Jag looks the best value for money

Im getting around 15litres per 100 but Im not sure if its right yet, I will fill up again and see, on the freeway it was getting 8liters per 100 by the gauge

sweet, that would be awsome, I will get a thermostat, hoses and coolant , most of these that Ive see have had a raditator replaced,

its going to get a major service soon, including auto and diff, I cant believe its got LSD in the rear also, plugs leads etc

Thread revival I know but I would look at an R31 Skyline as a daily if I was in the market, excellent car to drive and easily the most comfy front seats I have ever sat in. Parts are still easy to find and cheap, the RB30 is still a good strong engine and you can pick up an up-specced Ti for 3000-5000 bux.
