cordia lsd

so, i munched my cordia box on the weekend and i am considering chucking an lsd in while i'm fixing it.. aparently Ralliart LSD from a mirage cup car will fit but i cant find any more info on locating one... also i blieve kazz make/made one.. any way.. suggestions?

Mirage cup would be a CB Lancer, probably one of the old FWD boxes.

are you still using the 4G62T engine?

RPW in Perth do alot of mivec stuff so would probably help you out.

Im not sure if Kaaz or cusco mighht still do an lsd too. failing that most of the mivec mirages were lsd from factory, so you can possibly pick one up from ebay or trademe if you confirm it will fit

63/vr4 motor but still the stock box, other option is galant box but the chassis rail needs to be persuaded out of the way a lil from what i have read so i'd rather not do that

even if you changed gearbox ,cordia shifters are rod linkage from memory.So you would have to convert to cable shift setup with any other box.e.g galant or magna cables and shifter.

yup... no biggie, means i can relocate the gear stick back back a lil and not feel like i'm reaching down near my ankles with the shifter shortened...

You'll be looking at around $1600 for a Kaaz LSD. Not sure how the Ralliart LSD compares but the Kaaz that I have in my car is not particularly user friendly on public roads. Having said that, an LSD is a 'must do' mod for all powerful front wheel drives.
