Thats a disgrace to the mk3! a simple 1jz conversion would've been a lot better..

It would prob go slower with the stock v8 :lol: i remember flogging a stack of v8's with my 1jz mk3

The SP engineering 2jz RX7 is pretty awesome, though I prefer the LS1/LS2 conversions (so much so, that my next project will probably be an LS2 FD3S).

I don't understand the E30 M3 motor in the evo at all though :?

saw a Skyline gts-t with an LS1 conversion.
The owner said that he had both rb25 & LS1 engines weighed
and LS1 weighed a lot less.

Yeah, that doesn't suprise me. The LSx is a pretty compact, alloy motor and the RB is a huge cast iron lump (and then add all the associated turbo gear as well). It wouldn't suprise me if a fully dressed LS1 is lighter than a fully dressed 4G63 either. The story goes they weigh about the same as a TT 13B, but you do cop a bit of a weight penalty from the gearbox (the T56 is a huuuge bitch).

The guy on the right is some pro drifter from japan.
