Cruise is to MT BLACKWOOD, which is near ballarat, dont worry if you dont know how to get there, as maps will be provided at the meet point (below). We will be having a BBQ lunch up there so should be a bit of fun....

For some stupid reason, I didnt take many photos of the cruise, only the RS VR4 that turned up.

GSRSOL got a video of me showing a V8 how its done, that should be up soon hopefully.......

Whoever came up with the bright idea to go to mount blackwood? Theres nothing out there except dust, shitty roads and locals who dont stop, even if you wave them down.

we ended up goin to a nice little reserve in essendon, was a perfect spot, i'd reccomend that one again for the future.

had a great time, the BBQ was good (as always)

good to meet another whole bunch of new people, cant wait for the next one, hopefully it can be organised a little better than this one.......

yes to be honest driving to know where wasnt the best idea :S :S. Although i was excited when we were driving on that little gravel road at the end before turning back...i was thinking cool, here comes the mountains soon.. for some reason i thought it was going to be like the black spur, like big forrests and stuff :| definately not what google showed/talked about.. google was wrong!!

I remember on a melbccr cruise we went around some mountain at night, was good as, and i think ended up around back near ringwood? I should find out again...

p.s - i wana c that video all i saw was smoke and heard a burnout + a psshhh sound

because of the description of the roads you took... and the fact you ended up in essendon. The good roads head even further towards ballarat end up in greendale etc.

just make sure u spend lots of money in that cafe when u go past.. lol

What are you on about? Do you even know? We went the way we were told, it didnt help that the only person who knew where they were going, didnt come on the cruise..........

we ended up in the middle of nowhere on gravel roads, ran into a local who informed us that there wasnt any BBQ area anywhere around there, thats when we turned around and decided to go somewhere else, which was a bloody good idea because the spot we went to was awesome.
