I didnt think they had made any of these? does sound like a bit of a weird combo ...

note the seats and dash, and other sublt differences with a normal 8 MR

anybody else seen one of these before?

thats the wheel the rs's come with jon,

I have heard of this model before. rs interior and some mr features.

rs still have airbags- 9 on still even have abs and electric windows

its just got a MR rear badge thrown on there I believe, the MR is ment to be top of the range with leather, upgraded turbo , suspension etc

Just found this:

Evo VIII MR RS: Same As Evo VIII MR plus:
- 5 speed box
- Stronger rear diff
- Silver backed lights
less:
- Air Con
- Alloy wheels
- Recaro seats
- Electric windows

which seems to match with the above

Pretty sure there was an RS released of every model.

An evo 8 MR didnt come with leather it came with black alacantra seats. Some of the RS versions didnt come with brembos because most people would fit there own brakes pretty much why they didnt come with Recaros as they would just get changed for race seats.

the 8rs i drove at evonats had factory optioned brembos and 17s.
plenty of options available on rs still- even more than the gsrs

Yes your correct some came with Brembos as an option some came with aircon etc.

A base RS is the povo pack. But light as hell and 5 speed. :thumbsup:
