Custom dump worth trouble?

Have it sticking through the bonnet but put a 90deg bend on the end of it, (make sure the hole in the bonnet is big enough to clear the bend). You could have it pointing backwards so that the onrushing air won't go into the screamer (but the vented air could possibly shatter your windscreen....)

They show you are lazy and cant be bothered/ not skilled enough at designing a proper operational exhaust.

Haha, no, all the fab work on my car has been done, by me, crossmember, engine mounts, intercooler piping, the entire exhaust EXCEPT, for the dump pipe, seems pretty functional to me. As far as i'm concerned, enough skills here to avoid paying someone elses bills. Thanks.

The exhaust is already loud as is, staight 3 inch off the dump to a varex on the end that's it, so it's already plenty loud @ WOT, won't be driven much on the street anymore, maybe every now and then drive it to work for something to do until the rego lapses or it gets defected off the road, then no more street duties, track only.
