Hey guys,
I just got a 10" Fan off ebay. Trouble is it has no wiring instructions - just a fan and 2 wires. Just wondering if anyone can help me as to how they wired it to their mitsi?

Thanks in advance

got bad news for you.. 10' is too small.. i run 2 x 12's and it doesnt overheat a bit..

i had 1 12' and it overheated likej a mofo.. best bet is to get 2 x 10's or 1 big ass 14' anyways ill find some wiring instructions for you.

oh yer did you get a pull or push type?

Jon

Dre runs a 10" tho doesnt he?
I did read on the Davies Craig website that the reccomended fans for our cars are 10" condenser and 14" thermo fan, but it was after i bid. If worse comes to worse I'll run the 10" on the air con.
Craig davies are push or pull - reversable blades

Edit: I found the box and what I thought was a 10 inch was in fact a DSCL12

So yeah, 12inch it is, but on the box it says you need a 14inch and a 10inch, just like jonny said

14" fan here guys

it fits perfectly..

i looked at the book it recommended 14

anyway
to wire it up

basically off the stock relay

just remove the old fan, rewire exactly the same way retaining the box and all..

make sure u wire it so it pulls!! (make sure u get the polarity the right way)

also aim the little rubber thing on the fan downwards (vent)

thats about it

I went one 10 and one 14 now its cool as

blue wire positive +
black wire negitive -

just make sure it blows the right way (which is from radiator to the engine)

Just picked up a 14" for the thermo side today:

How did u manage that? The mounts on the new fan are roughly 8-9mm in from the stock ones on mine
