diff, transfer, gearbox issue ????

already have mate thats why i replaced it all as in first post
 
i have the same problem with my RS. just moving the car around it jumps and feels like the wheels are binding. i jacked it up and turned the front driver wheel and all four go at the same time and the diraction

Being an RS it probably has mechanical LSD's front and rear. In that case it is supposed to do that.

If you have mechanical lsd's, then changing the weight of the oil will make no difference on the preloads of the lsd's.
 
ok.. i went out and had my friend move the car around so i could watch and see what happens. what it looks to me is both rear wheels are turning as one. and the inner wheel binding and bunching back and forth. the front wheels are fine
 
i'm wondering if i could just swap out the lsd for one from a dsm or galant. i know the e3 has a different ratio then the gvr4 and dsm. but if i'm only changing the lsd, i would keep the e3 ring gear
