Looking at getting the Haltech Interceptor piggy back ECU. http://www.haltech.com/interceptor.htm and I'm just wondering what benefits would a whole new ECU give that a piggy back doesn't?

You can get custom written ones from the like of Dr Drift, or get something like a DSMLink.
The Yanks have gotten some awesome results with DSMLink, Ostritch etc which are just factory socketed ECU's with a chip. This might be the other way to go.
