So this is what I've got:

the actual fpr
4g63 fuel rail adapter
and two little things to attach the lines onto

what else do i need? (apart from lines)

What you have there is good for a basic setup without going for big HP and I recommend you also get a fuel pressure gauge to screw into it to set the pressure. What sort of power are you looking to make as if you are looking for 400HP+ I recommend also upgrading the stock fuel lines before and after the fuel rail, including the fuel filter and fuel return line to a larger -6AN or bigger size (most guys go Earls fittings and braided hoses). Just check your fuel rail adapter first as I bought mine from horsepowerinabox (was actually a turbosmart one) but it didnt suit my VR4 rail for some reason but fit a 4G93T and EVO instead  .

I ended up getting an Aeromotive FPR and ditched the stock VR4 fuel rail for a billet Holley unit and am currently pricing up -8AN fittings/hoses all round

I bought mine from HPinabox as well :?, but the bag mine came in said SARD

i dont really want to make big power, im just installing this so i can run the walbro 255 pump
do i need 2 fuel rail adapters, or is 1 fine?

you have a sard as well right?
can you tell me which hole does what? lol, the instructions are in japanese :(

also, what thread size should the fuel gauge be?

I had a SARD sport version (up to 450HP) like yours but I have an Aeromotive A1000 now as realised the SARD wasnt gonna suit my application. SARD also have a race version which handles 500HP+ http://www.upgrademotoring.com/performance/sard_reg.htm

Either of the holes in the side are for the line coming off your fuel rail, one should be blocked which is where you usually would screw in a fuel pressure gauge. The bottom hole of the SARD is for the fuel return line. Screw both of your blue nozzles into these 2 positions. The thread size for the gauge (blocked hole) I think is standard 1/8" NPT.

Just the one adapter for the passenger side of your fuel rail is fine if you arent gonna run a high HP setup. Oh, forgot to mention that you will need a nozzle coming out from your fuel rail adapter as well so you can connect it to your FPR!! (or buy an Earls fitting and hose). All the work you are doing is all off the passenger side of the fuel rail as pictured below. This is pretty much how you would install it on yours but for some reason this pic doesnt show the vacuum line from the small nozzle on the top of the FPR connected to anything (normally intake manifold). On the Aeromotive one pictured, you would screw in the fuel pressure gauge at the front where you can see the gold coloured plug

Do you have a barbed fitting for the return-line to the tank?
I can see the fittings for the fuel rail and inlet for the AFpr but not the other.

Also, have you test fitted the fuel rail adaptor with the barbed tail on it yet?
Looks like it might be a tight fit between the rail and the timing cover.
