SCRATCHED NUTS ANYONE?

Guys, take a look at this EBay auction: http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&item=200318994548

Now take a look at what was sent to me in the pics attached.

The so called 'black chrome' wheel nuts I was sent are just normal chrome wheel nuts that have been poorly spray painted or powder coated in black paint and definitely have not undergone the black chrome nickel plating process. I have since contacted the seller about it and he agreed to a refund. I've sent the parcel back via registered post but he hasnt given me a refund yet - the dodgey c*nt!

:fuuuuu::fuuuuu::fuuuuu:

that sucks man, i hate buying shit from ebay for that reason :p you never know what your buying till it is in your hands...

I have the exact same set on my car, I laughed when I got them, knowing that there was no way they were going to be what was described. I just watned black nuts, could tell pretty easily in photos though they weren't black chrome. Maybe they shoudl be called Chrome Black

I wouldnt go racing on them, probably aren the best quality.

He's offered a full money back refund which is good :) I guess I'll keep looking for a set of black nuts that will fit a 20mm wheel hole! Its harder than you think! :(

lol :w00t: I expected black chrome... it said black chrome... I paid for black chrome... but I got black painted chrome nuts  He's more dodgey than the vindaloo at the Indian shop down the street from my work! :w00t:

I think you can get the real deal, Wilkinsons Suspensions here in Perth sells them they said. I was asking about blue ones they said they only had the anodised steel black ones and he reckoned they are hard as. Could only get the black in steel.
Maybe give them a call and ask what brand? (08) 93702646

You surely expected them to be amazingly shit quality didn't you?

i agree.. it's ebay, it's $63. imo you've got nobody to blame but yourself ^_^
you can buy a set of alloy nuts for $100 anyway, or just get your oem ones coated at a local electro-plater for shit-all anyway.

Thats a bit of a harsh statement isnt it? As if no one on here has ever not looked at or bought something from EBay before. The seller has 99% feedback and over 3000 sales so the odds on getting what you pay for is in your favour.

Its not so difficult to comprehend - I wanted strong black chrome steel nuts plain and simple. I didnt want alloy, I didnt want chrome silver that was dodgily spray painted black neither, I wanted just plain black chrome nuts and the prick dogged me for a bit over $60, got the goods returned to him and hasnt coughed up the refund.

Now Im being ridiculed by the very people who should be a bit more understanding

it just sounds silly to demand top quality from an ebay product.

it's a relatively insignificant loss, and like i said.. a local shop will charge you next to nothing for a top job. just write it off and get it done properly.

I uderstand what your tryin to say, but with the sellers history you wouldnt expect the products to be so poor, otherwise there would have been more complainers

And not all products on ebay are cheap and poor quality, theres alot of excellent things too

Its the principle of the thing!
