Hey guys, ive got my shifter issues sorted (I think) and am keen to go back to the track, to chase the 12 that ive been longing for.

Now, im not really that keen to race against 8 second V8's, so i'll need some competition! Whose keen for the above days/locations?

Calder Park is kinda near the airport, but is abit of a hassle being on a friday night, traffic, rushing after work etc and if you like getting drunk with girlies, like me :D

Heathcote is an hour and a half away, but an awesome drive, you can relax and make a day of it, break out the barbie and a few cold ones etc 8)

Am I asking too much too soon? Should we make it further down the track- i.e after the cruise?


Either way, i'll be racing, all I need is you guys!

I made my debut, on the last drag day- remember baz- the one that we're still waiting for the video on :D :D

I just want to get out there while its still cold, have some races, possibly get another tune on the dyno, then have another crack at a low 12.

anyone else keen?

And if I can fix my boost leak, I might even have a run or 2 just to say I did a quarter while I had it...... I guess I can do the BBQ thing again...... Sounds cool..

My Mate went out with his EVO 1 first time at calder 2 weeks ago.
11.9 @120 with problems taking off and also hitting the limiter ever gear.
I would say calder good place as it is close. U break down at Heathcote, you F@#*&@ LoL
 
Yeap the White one with a Ralliart and CREATD sticker on the back window
No still retains normal 2ltr capacity with a CREATD spec motor :twisted:
 
Does sound tough.
and goes great, shit my pants that night going to calder and going home in that car.
Best thing is he drives it everyday 315kw at all 4 all day everday. 8)

I had a mate there with a video camera, should have vids up soon :D

Good to see Jamie in JETEVO pull out a best of 12.4 tonight, met a mate of his Lionel in a white JSPEC VR-4 tonight too, he's keen as beans for the cruise next w/end too :p

Rain ended it around 9.30, there were some nice cars there, only a hanfull of 4 cyls though, a little dissapointed........

I still cant drive the car the way I want to when it comes to shifting, still have to baby it into each gear, got pretty average 60 ft's (1.9), had chronic wheelspin from the semi slicks I was using (Advan) but i guess its better than hooking it up and breaking a 3-bolt axle right!

The car feels like its running alot smoothly since jon put some new spark plugs and magnecor leads in yesterday, feels like its got a few extra hp on the 'seat of the pants' meter, I suppose it doesnt help when you have the wrong spark plugs in there (thanks Amberley Auto)

Good news is: it can only get faster from here :wink:
