Sorry guys I found some info. I realise the transfer case is not quite 1:1 ratio (although very close). And these cars often come with different front and rear diff ratios, which would explain the torque split.
Now for example, if the front diff was 3:1 ratio, and the rear diff was 4:1 ratio with the transfer, how do we calculate the torque split? It may take some hard thinking, but probably only involes simple maths in the end.
The end of the car with the lower diff ratio (4:1 in this example), would have more torque.
