Driveshaft Carrier Bearing Issue

Good work Jamo glad its sorted.
Yeah, those fkn bolts have to be the right ones and the spacing has to be spot on the same as the aircon bracket - been there a couple of times and its pissed me off trying to find the right bolts.
Thats something that never clicked in my head when looking at your pics... the broken one was on the gearbox side.
Der! makes it a shitload easier fitting an EVO bracket than trying to extract the broken bolt out :lol:

just out of thought and curiosity, has anybody ever tried doweling the hanger to the block?? it would greatly reduce the shearing strength of the bolt...

I don't know if anybody is game to drill the block for that.

I've never really had a problem with it honestly.
Just use the correct bolt and ensuer that you have the bracket or spacer on and it shoudl be right.
