EVOCPE said:Yes you will need drycell if u mount it in the boot, acid batteries need to be in a well ventalised area
Im lookin for a drycell also
ENGINR said:Do I need to put the drycell battery (self sealed unit - no acid) in a battery box?
Dean said:does "special batteries" mean dry cell batteries though?
evopwr said:shayne, why bother? especially since you already have a battery in the boot.
you only save acouple of kgs max if you convert to drycell, and they cost so much more compared to generic batteries.
the only advantage i can see is if you need room in the boot for external pumps
Oh *** yeah, I forgot lolDOUGMO said:shaynes car is awd too rob
JayRome said:this is strange... my 83 Alfa GTV hatch has the battery in the boot in the right hand side corner... came stock with a normal lead acid battery that way... and still passed RWC.... and Aus standards.... since when did they change the rule?
3zercrowd said:It would pre-date the ADR and NCOP's rules as it came out before then.
I wouldnt worry about it
