how much of a diiference would you expect from dynoing in 3rd as apposed to 4th???

youd make more power in 3rd then 4th.. how much im not sure. 4th is known as the industry standard for a dyno run.

this was not a big power car but my cordia was making better power in 4th than 3rd

dont forget every car is different aswell, as everyones setups are too

Most my dyno runs where done in 4th gear but it seemed to make more torque when run in third, ended up making 200.9kw@ the wheels with a little more to go, 714.4Nm of torque to..

for accurate read outs on a dyno runs should always be done in the 1:1

gear or closest to it, which in alot of cars is usually 4th but not always.

my old car had a 1:1 5th gear hence runs were done in 5th.

lower gears will also increase torque readings
