I'm in need of a workshop with a dyno who has auto elec knowledge in Melbourne. I know its a long shot but my car is misfiring under load and I'm sure its a fault with the ECU or loom and my auto elec cant diagnose it without the car being on a dyno. Does anyone know of a workshop that would be suitable? Preferrably in the Eastern subs (nunawading, Mitcham, Ringwood) area.

Booked the car in at EFI for next Saturday (7th), the guy does sound like a champ, we were chatting about his Cordia that he had for a good 10mins, lol. Its funny, I find that heaps of workshop owners that I've dealt with used to own Cordias back in their day, its good cos they always know the engine inside out.

Dropped the car off with Errol on Saturday and got a call today. He reckons there is an air leak in the piping or cooler where boost is escaping and obviously the ECU will overfuel for the amount of air that actually enters the intake. So he was spraying some co2 around the cooler and found that the car got richer every time he did that so he's gonna pressure test the cooler and weld up any leaks. Hopefully this solves the problem.

Oh and yeh, Errol is a top bloke :)
