e6.5 is slightly quicker. There actually is a Fifth Gear episode (can't find it on ATM on U-tube) with a hot lap comparison between the two cars. The 6 just scraped through. The fact that it's a much lighter car certainly helps.

Well, then you would obviously automatically assume that a Tommi makkinen 6.5 would run rings around a 276hp evo 8. No?

that 6 is modded in that top gear piece...has an exhaust

8 would be better than a 6.5 in day to day application 6.5 has a shorter ratio gearbox so ure changin quiker and would be a rougher ride and an 8 is sooo sexual classier too

yeah ive always wanted a 6.5, but saw an 8 plus sunroof for around the same price -

8MR is just ultimate - but so expensive.

drive on the limit.

in an 8 its easier to be consistantly quick as they are
a more stable car to drive on the limit
