and besides, the apexi ones only lowers it about 3-4db

Fit a couple of straight through resonators. Will quieten up things nicely.

WHY do people go to such drastic lengths to temporarily quieten an exhaust? A pair of 18" resonators will not harm performance and will quieten the exhaust dramatically. It wont sound boring like a stock exhaust, but it will make it legal and you wont have to worry about it at all again.

All these aftermarket addons and no ones considering the obvious solution? All these aftermarket and/or backyard "solutions" will affect the performance while the car is in "quiet mode"

Why not sort it properly so its legal WITHOUT affecting performance?
