2 parts I can think of I want to find from a wreckers.
1 is the oil cooler lines for a vr4. The bolts are m16 from memory. What common cars would have the same cooler lines or at least the bolt and I can run my own lines.

The other is Gsr calipers. Have purchased pads. But they didn't have replacement clips. And I'm missing them. What common cars share the same caliper pad clips that I can find at a wrecker

Also what cars have 2.5" cats :)

I was using the vr4 oil cooler with some lines from pirteck
But was having trouble finding 16mm banjo fitting for my new setup so will be doing something like this

Might cost a bit more but looks better

***Also I have some spare banjo bolts***

Banjo bolts are the thread bits that screw in yet still let the oil flow yeah?
Do the other bits clip on like air hose. How does it work exactly.
In a previous thread I was looking for the different bolt sizes and got some good supply links. But can't figure out different bolts and fittings so thought I'd find something simple at a pic a part

Besides pajero, any others I might find at centre road?

Sorry Dougmo. I mean I don't need calipers. But the metal clips that the pads clip into. And u reckon go to them for the bolts too. Was thinking the 1.8's or the nag as might use the same bolts. I'll swing by Imlacs for the clips :p

You dont really need the plates, i think its only purpose is to indicate when the pads run low, the metal scrapes against the disc

Oh really. Here i was kicking myself. Been organizing this upgrade for a few months. Comes to a few days before hand and I'm like crap. No clips :p

If I can find proton ones I'll run without them. I check it all every month anyway. :)

i should have banjo bolts lying around,. you can order them new from mitsu, not expensive too... in regards to oil cooler... use magna tr ts gear box cooler, its the same, also pajero oil cooler lines should be suffice for your set up...

Damn. Just was at wreckers and they had one. I have a cooler off the lantra with the 4g. Jay man. Does the cooler mount same spot as the magma or does it still fit on the side like norm?

fit it anywhere you like bro.... then get lines to fit...

^I think he's after the thin metal plates( commonly known as backing plates) that go between the pads and caliper,
Anyway you can get titanium ones not sure if available for lancer, but manufactures claims this is the purpose of the backing plates.....

Reduces heat transfer from the brakes pads by to the brake caliper by approximately 70%
Reduces brake fluid temperate and prolongs the life of caliper dust boots
