evo 5 complied and obviosuly not insured as wasnt listed as a write off....tempting

HOLY SHIT!

Thats just up the road from us in Townsville...say hour, hour and a half!

Saw that car in Cairns before!

SSS automotive in Sydney have a compleate evo5 shell with no drive train or motor for about 4.5g
 swap all the parts over and instant track car for 10g
or use that shell panels bonnet doors turret and everything else for the repair job on that shell and have a street registered Evo 5 on the road for around 15g ;)

the EVO 4 above is not completely finished.. ie. It is a glx with complete evo 4 running gear, engineered etc, it doesnt have all the evo 4 interior. like the door cards etc etc etc. If you had spare time and money to finish it off it would be worth it.

It had wind up windows and was changed to power windows but not completed and according to the owner was a fairly average job.

no matter what you do to it- it'll never be an EVO 4

Good point Dre - but the same could be said for the majority of EVO3s out there too. I guess it comes down to what you want. For a rarity like a genuine (Mitsi built) E3 I could understand buying a more easily obtainable rebuilt Aus spec Lancer, but for something like an E4 I'd just get the real thing.
