EVO CONVERSION?? SOMEBODY TELL THIS GUY PLEASE

http://www.carsales....D-2174494/?Cr=6
lol just been in conversation with this kid. Its quite funny asked him straight out is this a gsr or evo ? reply " its a gsr with an evo motor converted to FWD only. and its definitely a evo 2lt " lol but if you notice also from the pictures the interior is grey and look closer at the rear wheels they seem to be drums. so I guess it only a cc lancer with a gsr motor in it

Because
Fwd > 4wd
Drums > disc
Reminds me of some gumtree ad of someone doing a 1.8 conversion to their evo2

Anyways, how believable is the "forged internals" then?

As you all know its not that hard to get on your knees to tell if its awd, and you all know no matter how much you dress up a 93 to look like a 63 you cant move the oil cap.

its got a proper vin ( there is a few that have letters instead on number, usually mean car was stolen in Jap land ) , and yellow plate , Im surprised it hasnt sold already, looks very clean , with tidy mods too

What's something like that worth then Jamo? I agree with you thou, $24.5K can buy you a lot of car atm, definitely not a sellers market.

Depends really, unless your a collector then you wont see hte proper value of these cars

Look at Doms old black EVO3, it sold not so long ago for around 24k from memory, and that was with a standard donk, they removed the forged engine from it before the sale

Then you look at my brothers old silver EVO3, that sold for around 20k with a leaking engine due to a cracked oil pump housing

These cars are reaching 20 years and soon be made as a historic vehicle :p

that black evo your talking about that sold for 24k that had the engine swapped before sale was that at a car yard in sydney?
