They are 100% definitely not a direct fit. I know because I had these on my Evo..that kit needs the steel adaptors to bolt up to an Evo or GSR knuckle.. The seller is talking out his arse. He is correct when he mentions that they will fit Evo 4 onwards but..as they have the bigger bolt spacing on the knuckles.

The rear handbrake in a GTO/3000GT has a brake shoe that sits inside the brake disc, that I suspect grips onto the inner side of the brake disc that then locks the hubs. There is no mechanism in the actual caliper that allows a direct swap for the GSR/EVO 1-3 handbrake cable. Quoting evo123.net "The GTO caliper uses drums/shoes for the handbrake rather than the caliper for the handbrake".
