Yeah she offered it to me for $1500 and said she could go a little less if need be but I couldn't get the cash plus delivery from qld to nsw. I would have snapped it up if I could have.

The car was complete with nothing really wrong with it. But she had it for sale for yonks and it didn't sell. So they parted it out and got more for it in parts anyway.

Spoke to him this morning.. Definitely a genuine bonnet... It does have a few small dents in it but nothing major. Especially for the price...

Someone in VIC should jump on this.... ALSO THIS GUY IS COMING TO SYDNEY NEXT WEEKEND AND CAN DROP THE BONNET OFF IF NEED BE !!!

Being aluminium that would be pricey to repair. Whoever fixes has to have a set of tools that is only used to repair aluminium. If they use the same tools as they use to fix steel the aluminium will be contaminated.

For those 2 imperfections you would just use a bit of touch up paint and leave it be, $200 is a ripper!

Sure is. But working ali is a dying art. All f1 race cars in the olden days were hand formed ali. What a work of art they are.
Any mug can chuck a bit of bog in and make it look ok

It sure is an art that has died ...although it is part of the beaters course at Tafe these days so it may come back....a lot of new cars are beginning to use aluminium again
