hehe i saw that tim and i asked my self the same question:)

I sent him this question below because I really think someone has taken him for a ride and fed him with too much bullshit  :

Hi, just wondering if you accidentally added an extra '0' to the price tag on your auction? Complete looms like this can be bought for $50-100 on any Galant VR4 related internet forum. I even have a rarer VR4 EVO loom in a box on my garage shelf that I couldnt even sell for $100. Do you want to buy it for $100? Because if you can sell it for $800 you can keep the $700 profit :D

LOL! This should be the ebay ownage section.....

This is what the guy said to me:

I have been working with vr4's for over 5 years not alot of people know much about the vr4 ecu's.. Why do you think it is not true? If you think its not please tell me what you think the 2nd generation cpu's do that are so different from the aus spec, 1st generation, RS, and 2nd generation..

Jay

If you dont beleive me mate look it up or ask on yahoo groups mitsubishi evo/gsr club, NZ mitsubishi car group..

They are not so different from the Aus-Spec ECU. They are both single board eprom ECU's, which are loggable and chippable. The reason why I asked if you had any idea is because you dont even mention what model VR4 it is from? E39A, E38A, E84A, or even an EC5A? You obviously don't know what you're talking about, because these ECU's are NOT WORTH $800! $300 if you are lucky! Now, why dont you go to the MANY forums out there and ask. www.galantvr4.org.au or 4gtuner.com. Actually dont, because they are all laughing at you.

I just asked him to take a shot of the inside of the ecu. Also asked if it is the eprom or no eprom version as they came as both. Still not too sure what drugs this guy is on asking that much for it though!
