i was interested in one of those dre.. but no one seems to know anything about them or the quality..

Ive bought a shifter off mikey for my old VR4, his workmanship is great.

The only thing is, i'm after a replacement shifter, as the stock shifter from my CC will be used in my C73A CYBORG (the stock CC shifters are shortshifters in CB's)

Just wanted to see if anyone has used one of these, and if the fit well, and shift well etc.

I had a shifter that I bought for my 1g dsm box... I don't know if it will fit the VR4, but if anyone wants it let me know... I found it in my garage the other day when doing a bit of a clean up ...

Thats idenical to the one I found on my Jap rseii frt cut next year I'll let you know wha its like
 
Sorry to bring up an old post, but does anyone have any up to date links of short shifters for the evo 1? I would like to reduce the throw a bit.

I got one of the Proton shortshifters from EBay.... same thing as CC Lancer and a good solid unit :)

i have fitted one of these to my evo 2 and i know they fit fine...

i have not driven the car with it though so dont know what the shift is like

Im using one of these.Very happy with it for the price I paid.Throw from north to south is about 25% shorter and east west is about 50% shorter.Feels heavy and solid. :D

not that one, thats totally different, you can get one locally from the 2g eclipse, as some vr4 and colt guys are running them.

something like this should work, little mod but essentially the same I'm going to try it so I'll let you know how it goes:

genuine part# from mits is MB307949 for the bush
