i brought a eboost2 on the weekend i thought i would spoil myself for my birthday, though the place i brought it off said it has 4 stages, though i have spoken to a few others and they said no they only have 2 stages.... there is nothing on the information given about how many stages.... if anyone knows a def. answer please let me know....

whats the big deal? ud probably use only 2 stages anyways why fuk around? its no drag car

yeah aaron does but his got eboost one, i got two and seeing how everyone keeps telling me different i would just like to know....and yeah yellowgsr it is a BIG DEAL, as i would like stage one stock, stage two at least 14-16 and stage three around 18.... yeah it aint no drag car ITS SO MUCH MORE!!!!!

if i recall on most electronic boost controllers, they have an OFF setting which just reverts it back to stock boost, so wouldn't really need a stage for stock boost..

It will go back to what ever you had it set at when the car is running ..

What Olly was saying is that you have 3 settings.

1) lets say 16psi
2) 20psi
Off (meaning that you have not selected 1 or 2 but the actual "off setting) is what ever the factory ECU runs.

For example, my Apexi AVC-R has 3 settings ...

A (I had it set at 25psi)
B (I had it set at 20psi)
OFF (I think it was 12psi)

oh i get ya.....
thanks for that....
think ill leave it to the experts to set it up.....
and then ill leave it to aaron to change which settings, knowing me ill stuff something up with it and there goes $800

Yer, that is what I get my mechanic to do .. I can change my EMS settings if I want to, as well as the AVC-R, but I just tell him what and how I want it to perform, he tunes it, I leave it ...

The only thing I do is switch between A,B, and off ...

i have an eBoost one

it has three stages / set points
SP1
SP2
SP3

on mine, even if i use SP3 (stage 3 boost which is set to the highest boost) , when the car gets turned off, and then back on, it sets back to SP1 (low boost). I was told by two different mechanics that this was normal though?

To turn off the eBoost one, you have to hold the 'mode' button for like 10 seconds and it should run stock boost, but then your guage turns off as well...
its just best to set a low stage of boost to stock boost or thereabouts, and set a higher level or two levels depending on what u want

anyway to the point, more info found in the instructions for eboost 2 from turbosmarts download page:

http://www.turbosmart.com.au/index.php?s=downloads

its on that page there
i opened up the eboost two manual and it said there were six boost stage points (double what eboost one has) so SP1 all the way to SP6

anyway hope i helped in some way
