ECI relay troubles

Hi guy's.
Hopefully someone can help me out on this one, as I have NFI !!

I just had a Microtech ECU installed and ran fine for 2 day's. Now it seems like the ECI relay (big gold relay under the stereo) seems to be playing silly buggers.

The car starts fine for about 5 seconds then shuts off.

Has anyone experience the same sort of trouble? or know what I should do?

Are the Galants relay the same?

Have you tried swapping them out?

The original 70Y actually doesn't have one whatso ever..
From what I understand, when it was originally converted an "uprated" fuel pump had been installed, which makes me think that it's been hard wired.

I've replaced the relay and the problem persists..
There seems to be no power going to the ecu, the handset is dimming erratically. I've checked the fuses and all are ok.

this is only happened since you got the ECU installed?


Sounds like an electrical problem of some sort!

Well it actually happened 2 days after I drove it home after the Microtech was installed.
