I still dont know for the life of me why people go through the hassle of removing the climate control wiring from a perfrectly good JDM GSR/ EVO interior loom, then put it aside for a later time to splice into their existing loom and create a real mess... its rediculous. Ive done it once before for a guy's car and never again. Every other time since has been complete loom swapovers. There's a few parts you need for the full climate control setup and most guys havent got a clue about them and start pulling the car apart without knowing what's in stall
Its much easier to get a JDM GSR or EVO interior loom and install that instead (GSR model with climate control of course). BUT, not before you have the rest of the parts for the job. The more your wiring stays factory and un-spliced the less problems that will occur and the easier it will be to fault find electrical problems if they occur in future.
If you have got a JDM GSR I reckon put up a WTB thread for another JDM GSR interior loom and get one of them to replace what you have now. If you dont have a JDM GSR grab a loom first, then shop for the headunit, motors, and centre fan box. The climate control also uses a sensor up underneath the dashboard near the demister which people seem to forget when doing the climate control conversion. You dont really need the outside air temp sensor as its a bit of a wank factor, though you can always buy the sensor and resistor that bolts to the radiator support panel and install it later using your own custom wiring if you dont have an EVO or JDM GSR engine loom.
In your current situation its great to hear that you've done the hard yards and got the aircon running at the moment
Sadly as explained earlier, you're left in a situation to do some fault finding and going through the loom again
