Was just wondering if anybody could tell me if the single board ecu below is the chippable version?

Seems to have some kind of fault but keen to get it sorted

Yep. The chip at top left of pic Is the one that you change.

Is it possible to run an RS ecu in a normal vr4? It is the dual board type, #MD128618

If its out of an early RS with the blue 450cc injectors, yes it should be ok

I got a good stock ECU from a 1991 VR4 if you need one
