Hey guys i have a CB Lancer GSR with a E39A VR4 4G63T dumped in it, just wondering how easily interchangable ecu's are:

can i swap my stock ecu for evo (1, 2, 3), or JSPEC single board easily?

Sorry im thinking CB lancer as in 4G61T cyborg/GSR.

Im fairly sure mrcyborg did dimmies car with the factory loom?

dont think so,

i was under the impression that a 4G61 loom can be used on a 4G63 motor without having to change much if anything at all....

same for 4g61t and 4g63t ....

if you have a 4g61/4g61t loom, and a 4g63/4g63t motor, you should be ok to use a factory VR4 ECU in theory? I know thats what SIVART and oscar have done with their C73A's

Na VR4 and EVO ECU's arent interchangeable

EVO ECU's and VR4 ECU's dont use the same plugs.

Perhaps you were talking about VR4 EVO??

my bad guys i was thinking about dsm cars (eclipse, taloon, laser) and yeah the rs evo 0 is the same but i wouldn't use it since 510cc injectors ans our vr4s are only 450cc
