EGR BLOCK OFF PLATE. ANYONE MAKE THEM IN OZ?

That's.... FIAV, not EGR? What is the EGR anyway? Hear it spoken on often enough.. I'm guessing it's not on the Aussie models?

I think it's an Exhaust Gas Recirculation system which was something to do with emissions control and efficiency or something...I think they recirculate exhaust gasses through the intake under certain operating conditions...

Another thing you could do it simply cut a plate out and sandwich it to keep it stock looking.

Looks like Chris doesn't sell the EGR blockoff anymore. I made the FIAV & EGR alli plates for him.
I don't sell them to the public because it's his income. I have a few EGR plates here if needed.

Is this the weird looking actuator thing underneath the throttle body/ISC motor? What's the benefit of blocking it off, and can you not just unplug it?

Sits on the runner of the manifold between the tb - head. Diamond shape flange. 2 bolts.

It allows unburnt exhaust gasses to re circulate back into the intake stream and re burn.

Blocking it off means no dirty exhaust gas taking up valuable fresh air space in your intake.

I'm pretty sure it only operates under part throttle and cruise conditions, so if it's operating correctly it should have very little effect on full throttle power.
