GSR uses a different fan resistor. Which more than likely has a different plug.
Yea the jdm loom came with the resistor to suit, pretty sure the adm one only had 3 pins and the new one has 4, or a 4 pin plug anyway3VOLUTIONIST said:GSR uses a different fan resistor. Which more than likely has a different plug.
Nah, knock sensor is an oval two pin plug unfortunatelyevo-gsr said:The one next to injector ballast is knock sensor from memory? I could be mistaken but.

And also this single big plug with one wire in it, comes out of the loom next to the injector ballast.
I am doing a little work on mine now and just made a discovery.3VOLUTIONIST said:Yeah been working on it the last few nights. Got the single wire above the gearbox sorted (was the starter, thanks for that brian). Had to cut the wiring out of the GSR loom.
Now I'm only left with the large plug with single green/black wire. And small blue plug with single yellow/black wire, both near the solenoids on the firewall.
No progress on the interior dome light, nor whether the buzzer is supposed to work with the headlights on or not.
Wired in my fog light switches (pinched some plugs off the old GSR loom), got their illumination and dimming ability sorted![]()
Slowly working out all the bugs.
I checked my engine loom for the plug near the injector ballast, the only similar plug I have had that 1 green wire going in but then another couple coming out to another plug which goes nowhere haha. But pretty sure it goes to the ac loom I removed3VOLUTIONIST said:While we're at it.. Oh, the evo only has one fuse for the taillights whereas the GSR has two circuits. My dad spliced the GSR boot loom into the evo body loom when I wasnt home, so im not entirely sure what he did to remedy the problem tbh :/ (I only had one tail light working with the GSR loom plugged into the evo one)Ian91 said:I am doing a little work on mine now and just made a discovery.
The buzzer and the wipers have the same shaped plug.
Are you wipers working? Buzzer should be the green plug, wipers should be white.
The buzzer doesn't buzz but beeps when the drivers door is open and keys are not on.
Doesn't seem to work as a headlight reminder, just door open reminder.
Did the pin swap for the hand brake light but there was a pin in the spot where it was supposed to go so I just moved it to a empty spot lol.
Still dunno why the interior light doesn't work because the door switch works the buzzer so should work the light too.
Also have to work out why my headlights make a feral noise from the engine bay fuse box :/
EDIT: the 'tail lamp' relay is the one in the engine bay which is buzzing when I turn on the headlights and only one of my rear lights light up. Weird.
Otherwise I think the dash is about ready to go back together
True, well maybe your relay would have buzzed before that. Any chance you could find out for me? I went through the 2 looms tonight but it's dark and I'm tired and I couldn't see any differences between the 2 at any of the plugs where there were wires the same colour as the headlight switch plug.3VOLUTIONIST said:Oh, the evo only has one fuse for the taillights whereas the GSR has two circuits.
