Gday,
I've just put a second n/a 4g63 into my '89 GSR Galant.
I've put it all in correctly and it runs, there's just a couple of problems
- The "check engine" light is always on
- It is really hard to start when it's cold.
- The Temperature guage is constantly moving up and down.
I've had a guy look at it, and he tells me it's all electrical...
So, Because i still have my old engine sitting around (which ran fine, just blew smoke), i've changed over the following bits:
- The thing coming out the air filter side of the rocker cover (CAS???)
- The part in the intake manifold that the spark plugs plug into
- All three sensors on the water pump
It still has all the same problems.... Any ideas????
