engine stoppped working again...warrenty?

last night the engine stopped working. no bang, no noise just alot of oil sitting on the left of the gearbox. the radiator has water and there is no goo in the radiator/dipstick or anywhere.

my mate says hopefully maybe its just a seal?

what do you guys think? its realy shitting me as iv been baby-ing the car to stop this happening, i was even driving at only 90 on the M4

two more days till warrenty runs out..what do you think i should do?

have a look first and see wether its a simple fix that you can do......me be save yourself the hassle of stuffing around.......then if you decide to call for warranty you will have the facts of the matter at hand and be able to tell them what the issues are.

I you do call , be business like in your approach and keep cool at all times.

yeh i gave them a call, as soon as i mentioned warrentiy they changed.

going to hopefully send it to them tomorrow.

it was professionaly installed and was only on the road for 2days, even had a full tank of fuel!

any ideas on what a warrenty covers?

What exactly was done? Replacement motor?? Majority of time, if you dropped in a second hand motor, Warranty is either startup (Litterally, if it starts, thats where your warranty ends), Sometimes they will give a 3,000km warranty if they installed. If its a complete engine rebuild. Then you may be ok for 30 - 60days..
