Diamonds are forever....
*EDIT* someone buy this car!! I'm giving it away!!! There's nothing wrong with it!!!
Will sell for $3600 minus the sounds! Perfect for a 4G63T conversion!!!
I don't want to have to sell this car because I really really like it, but its just not suitable for my new business' needs anymore.
I bought this car in Feb for $6000 with the intention to keep it for a while, but now i'm seriously looking at a commodore/falcon/magna to replace it with. (what I really should have done before I bought this car- but im addicted to mitsi's)
The car is a 1994 RVR Sports Gear. For those who are unfamiliar, it is a 5spd 4G63 2.0 DOHC 4WD. It has a W5M332 gearbox and 3.909 drivetrain which is the same found in lancer EVO's. It has a viscous LSD in the rear. It has started first time every time since I have owned it. Its travelled 186,000 GENUINE kms. All the numbers line up on the odometer.
I have changed the cambelt, balancer belt and accessories belts and also the fluids twice in the 5,000km I have done. I will change them again before I sell it.
Good points:
-5spd manual
-Exedy H/D clutch (replaced 2000km ago)
-Viscous rear LSD
-VR4 twin pot brakes
-Slotted Verada 276mm rotors
-K&N panel filter
-RSR Ti2000 lowered springs
-16" 5-spoke FTO wheels (not fitted- need new tyres)
-Pioneer DEH-P8650MP CD/MP3 (dolphin graphics etc)
-Infinity 5.1 components (front)
-Infinity 6.1 components (rear)
-Infinity Reference 7541A amplifier
-Stinger RCA's
-Keyless entry with immobiliser
-Tinted windows with glare strip
-Colour change dash (orange/green)
-NO roof rust
-Ice cold airconditioning with climate control
-Not much needed for RWC (could even possibly supply one for the buyer)
Not so good points:
-The paint could do with a buff- there's a couple scrape marks on the passenger side, which are hardly noticeable from a distance. Apart from that, the body is straight. I have deleted the bullbar, and ugly mirror off the front guards.
-Rear seat is black instead of grey like the front seats (long story)
-Small scrape in driver window tint (from selt belt re-tracting)
-knock in front right shock (haven't diagnosed it yet- possibly sway bar link)
Overall the car is really good. It would suit a first car buyer, P-plater or even someone with a spare 4G63T to throw in. The car drives and handles well and is quite torquey- gets from A to B comfortably and safely. I constantly get 430km from stop start 0-60kph around town driving, and 550+ km on the HWY from a 50L tank.
More pics available on request. The car is located in the Northern suburbs of Melbourne. The number plates and momo steering wheel are not for sale, however if you have your own momo steering wheel, I will throw the boss kit in for free.
This car owes me around $8500, and considering I only bought it 6 months ago, I think asking $6000 is fair.
Any more questions, feel free to drop me a PM
