Hi all,
Just looking for expressions of interest as per topic title. I'd rather see the parts off my well loved car help someone else as I cannot afford to keep it. (Between us, my partner and I now have 5 cars).
I will be posting in the FS section once my donation for membership is processed (had to paypal from bank a/c, so needs to clear), but wanted to get an idea of how much interest there is for the parts before we start dismantling.
I have a 1997 White RVR HSG.
I will post some pics as soon as I get a chance to take some, (at work atm) and will most likely post a link to a video showing the engine running.
Here is some info on the main things that are available. If I haven't listed a certain part, please ask, as car is in great condition with no parts missing and obviously its a PITA to post all parts.
If i get enough interest, I will start pulling it apart right away.
I'm in Newcastle, NSW and can arrange local freight or help with pricing on interstate freight.
** COMPLETE Forged 4G63T Engine - runs very well, serviced every 5000km. Still has original turbo. Only done around 20,000k since rebuild. Have all receipts for work done.
Recently done timing belt and tensioner (within the last month)
**Turbosmart kompact plumb back bov
**K&N Pod air filter box (LEGAL!)
**Eboost controller
**5sp Manual Gearbox - perfect working order
**Clutch Slave Cylinder and Master Cylinder are only about a month old
**Have both the 3" exhaust (sitting in shed) and a standard exhaust made up by Liverpool exhaust a few months back (currently fitted).
**Autronic SMD ECU
** Full HSG Body Kit - no damage apart from a few stone chips here and there. Back bumper would need to be cut back as there is staining from exhaust when it was running rich. I was always able to easily remove this in the past with a bit of paint cleaner and No.2 cut and polish.
**All lights and indicators (only one damaged is drivers side head light - small hole, must have been a stone. Not shattered, clean hole, barely noticeable)
**Recaro Seats, front and back - good condition, no tears/stains. Rails available too. Drivers side seat is only one to show any wear.
**RVR Floor Mats - front and back - wear and tear evident on drivers side front. Passenger side RVR logo has come off. Back mats in excellent condition (two piece mat).
**Parcel Shelf. Very good condition, took it out a while ago and has been sitting in my lounge room ever since.
**17" Oz Racing Mags - slight damage on some. 5 rims with lock nuts. Will post pics.
**All windows (except windscreen) have dark 5% tint
**Back spare wheel carrier - small scratch once opened, could be easily painted/fixed, not visible when shut.
**Interior is in good condition. Air vent fins are broken (seems to be a common thing). All surrounds are in great condition, I've always cleaned and looked after interior. Vinyl has a few minor scratches near glove box. No missing pieces.
**Alpine Double Din headunit - old school tape/cd. Good condition, works great.
**All standard speakers - working.
**Every other bit on the car available....
