First joint wouldn't do it. It's getting repriced by another one tomorrow who have said they will definately do it but I have to order a batch of 50.

As soon as I get pricing, i'll be taking deposits/prepayments.

are they going to be available in a tinted colour? grey or bronze or something? similar to laserlite polycarbonate?

i just reckon they'll look a bit tacky once they get dirty/scratched, etc.

a slight tint might hide the dirt a bit

No tints. Clear only.

If you want it tinted, spray it or something.

I'd love to supply tinted ones but there's no way i'd sell 50 of them.

Would be good if they sat at a height 'just above' the timing belt so lower than the factory unit. That way they can be fitted ont 4G63 conversions into GSR's and coupes etc without the need for a raised bonnet to clear it 8)

Ok so these turned out to be seriously expensive so i'm looking for alternative places.

They make them for the 4G93's but not sure about the 4G63's, they are $40 each!!!! for the 93s.

These are simply the upper timing belt cover not the whole assembly.

The major cost is the initial tooling as they're being priced for injection moulding in polycarb or acrylic clear plastics which are actually able to take the temps to 150 degrees without issue (underbonnet heat and all).

I think you'll find that 40 dollar one will frost up the first time it gets some heat into it


I've been doing some calculations I think the cheapest I can get them out of here if I can sell 400 of them is about 180 bucks each maybe including freight. Which is still insane.

Modyourcar sells them for rb26's for 169 each and that is a freaking HUGE production run (GREDDY ones) so the cost is amoratised better.

I might see if the USA websites are interested? NZ guys?

Good luck with the US sites... Any company I tried to chase down for them (it was 2 or 3) they never replied to any email I sent them. But I guess I was just looking for 1, so I can kind of see why the did not bother.
